Update Listing

Instructions for Updating Faculty/Staff Listings

Each person is responsible for updating his or her directory information online; therefore, we will have the most current and accurate information possible. When updating your faculty/staff listing you will be required to use your Unity ID and password. If you do not know your Unity ID/password, please contact IT Helpdesk at 515-HELP.

The directory web site uses encryption to secure your information and most web browsers should be able to access the website. We recommend using one of the following: Netscape 3.0 and higher, Netscape Communicator 4.05 or MS Internet Explorer 3.0 and higher.

Please follow the instructions below to update your directory information.

  1. Go to http://www.ncsu.edu/directory/
  2. Click on "Update My Directory Listing (Faculty/Staff)" located near the bottom of the page
  3. Enter your unity id & password
  4. Make whatever corrections you would like to your listing and click Next Step (verification)
  5. Verify that your listings look correct; your printed phone book listing will look approximately like this:
  6. Click Commit Changes when everything looks right.
  7. Your information will be updated in the online campus directory within 24 hours and will be printed in the new publication.
