Student and Media Services (SMS) offers a range of affordable video filming, production and editing services to suit the needs of the NC State Community.

Services Offered

Live Broadcast
Student and Media Services can broadcast your campus event live over WolfBytes Television and to the Web off of the WolfBytes homepage.

Tape-Delayed Broadcast
Student and Media Services can broadcast your event on tape-delay over WolfBytes Television and to the Web off of the WolfBytes homepage. Travel charges apply at the current rate of reimbursement for university employees.

Scripting
Student and Media Services can help write a script for production for clients.

Editing/Post Production
Student and Media Services offers linear editing services for productions originating from our offices. We provide services to add polish to the video production.

Formats
Student and Media Services can convert your production into a variety of formats including DVD, .mpeg, Quicktime and other formats. We can prepare your video for podcast.

iTunesU
Student and Media Services can convert your production for podcast and post the podcast to the NC State iTunesU site.

Rates for Services
Student and Media Services charges a flat fee of $25 per hour for all services offered with a minimum charge of three hours. Rates will vary depending whether the production will air on WolfBytes Television. SMS reserves the right to not accept any potential project.
