With voice mail, you can take advantage of a business tool that lets you accomplish more in less time. In a single call you can:
- Send messages and send copies of messages to others
- Review, reply to, and save voice mail messages sent by your callers.
- Record a single detailed message and distribute it to dozens of other colleagues.
Types of Voice Mail Boxes

| Type | Description |
| Voice Messaging Mailbox | A mailbox that can be called and a message left if your line is busy or you do not answer. This differs from an answering machine because the message can be reviewed, replied to, saved, and copied to others. |
| Information Mailbox | A mailbox used to convey information only. A message can not be left in this typoe of mailbox. |
| ECP (Enhanced Call Processing) | A mailbox used when there is more than one person sharing a line and the individuals want their own voice messaging mailbox. The mailbox routes the caller to the person's individual mailbox to leave a message. |
